Some techniques used during a typical physiotherapy appointment may also include joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations, exercise prescription, K-Taping, and therapeutic modalities as well as Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) / Dry Needling.
On weekends, Anika enjoys hiking the trails, mountains, lakes & beaches Vancouver Island has to offer. In the summer of 2017, she hiked the West Coast trail with her Father, which was an experience of a lifetime. Growing up in a multi-cultural city such as Montreal and loving to travel, all types of cuisine fascinate Anika. She is passionate about cooking, loves trying new recipes complimenting it with the perfect pairing wine.
